Brittany stamer, ND

Dr. Stamer’s mission is to empower, educate, and guide others on their healing journeys. She believes that the body is the ultimate healer. Her role is to support and educate so that people can live their most divine expression. Her ambition is to help patients be as healthy as they can be, therefore allowing them to best share their own gifts with the world. She believes in deep, sustained, and holistic healing. She listens to the layers of each patient’s story in order to find the root causes of imbalance.

Dr. Stamer has a deep passion for the earth as well. She believes environmental and human healing go hand in hand. As we heal and connect with the earth, we heal and connect with ourselves and other human beings. This philosophy carries into her treatment of patients and into her daily life, because every choice we make in each of our daily lives can create small and big ripples and changes.

Teaching patients about nutrition is a favorite part of her practice, as she believes food is medicine. She, herself, has a passion for cooking and connecting with others over food. Living a life full of community, love, and connection are key to living a vibrant life. She loves helping to remove blocks that patients may have in this area using energetic medicines, lifestyle choices, and other modalities to see them thrive.

One of her main areas of focus is women’s health. Dr. Stamer sees women needing support with menstrual irregularities, PMS/PMDD, acne, PCOS, fibroids, and to discuss contraception options including the Fertility Awareness Method (FAM). She also has a background in attending dozens of home births and aiding in preconception, prenatal, and postpartum care while apprenticing with midwives while in naturopathic medical school. While she has decided not to pursue midwifery at this time, she supports many women through their fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum journeys.

She also sees patient’s with digestive concerns, endocrine disorders, autoimmune disease, cardiovascular issues, mental health disturbances, and more.

Immediately after graduating naturopathic medical school, she completed a one year residency focusing on primary care. This has allowed her to have an understanding of the Western model of care. Meeting patient’s where they are at is a tenant of her care, but always with a focus on holistic medicine.

Her goal is to treat each patient as a whole and unique person, and not simply based on a diagnosis. She treats each patient on multiple levels, taking into account their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.

Her passions outside of work are making herbal infused creations, biking, running, spending time in the sun, exploring ethical fashion, gardening, cooking, reading, and spending time with loved ones including her cats.
